Tyler Brewer

Your Family Law Paralegal

I’m Tyler Brewer, a local paralegal and California Legal Document Assistant based in the Ridgecrest area. I’m available to work remotely with attorneys, law firms, other legal professionals, and self-represented individuals throughout California.

For attorneys and law offices, I can provide remote paralegal, legal secretary, and administrative support, including document preparation, court filings, case management, client communication, document organization, and help keeping up with the everyday workload of a busy office.

I also work directly with people who are representing themselves in California courts. As a registered Legal Document Assistant, I can prepare legal documents at your direction and assist with the paperwork and filing process.

Why I Focus on Family Law & Estate Planning

I chose to focus my work as a Legal Document Assistant on family law and estate planning documents for one important reason: I want to make the paperwork and court process a little less overwhelming during some of life’s biggest transitions.

Divorce, separation, changes involving children and family, the loss of a loved one, and planning for the future can all come with a tremendous amount of paperwork. When you are already dealing with the personal and emotional side of these events, navigating forms, filing requirements, deadlines, and procedures can feel like one more burden.

As a registered and bonded California Legal Document Assistant, I help self-represented individuals prepare legal documents at their direction. My role is to help turn your decisions and instructions into properly prepared paperwork and assist with the administrative side of moving your matter through the process.

In family law matters, you remain in control of your case. You make the decisions about what you want to request, what terms you are willing to agree to, and how you want to proceed. I prepare the documents based on those decisions and instructions. For matters requiring legal advice, negotiation, advocacy, or representation in court, an attorney should be consulted.

Estate planning is equally personal. Some people need documents prepared quickly because of an unexpected change in circumstances, while others have been putting off their estate planning for years because life simply gets in the way. Whatever brings you to the process, I can help prepare the documents you have selected and provide practical document-preparation and filing assistance to help you get the paperwork completed.

Whether you are preparing documents for a divorce or other family law matter, handling paperwork following the death of a loved one, or putting your own estate plan in place, my goal is simple: provide professional, personalized document preparation services that make the process easier to manage.

You make the decisions. I prepare the paperwork.

I am not an attorney. I cannot provide legal advice, represent you in court, or select legal forms or legal strategies for you.
